A few years back (I think it has been 7), we decided to take an annual trip to the NC mountains. The first year, we went skiing at Sugar Mountain. Every year since, we have found a cabin and enjoyed the changing leaves. Once the kids got older, we added a trip to Tweetsie Railroad to our yearly agenda. They love Tweetise! Last year, we discovered the Hebron Rock Colony, a really neat rock formation that you can hike up to a waterfall.
