Can you believe Ashton is 6? We had a birthday celebration week with lots of parties and presents, even though Ashton got sick the night before her birthday. She is getting so big and has become such a great little girl. She's the best big sister ever and does so much to help around the house. Here are some pictures from her big week!
Monday: I didn't have to work, so we went to Ashton's school and had a class party for her. Cupcakes and Cheetos galore! Later than night, she came downstairs complaining she was hot. I checked her temperature and, sure enough, she had a fever. Good thing we had her class party a day early,
Tuesday: Ashton's actual birthday. She didn't go to school, but she felt well enough to go to Moe's for dinner. The balloon man was there and made her an enormous hat. She was very excited.
Saturday: We had her birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese with all our family and some of her friends from school and church. It was a whirlwind of food, games and an oversized mouse. Luckily, Ashton was feeling better.
(top to bottom: Ashton and Ethan at her school; Her classmates were very excited for the party; Ashton and Maria Jose smile over a Cheeto; Ashton's birthday hat from the balloon man at Moe's; Her ice cream cake on her birthday; Chuck E. Cheese madness!)

I think my next birthday party should be at Chuck E.'s! :)
Happy birthday to Ashton! She looks so much like Lynell...
